For over ten years, these wonderful women and their families have been meeting on Wednesday night, during the school year, to share a meal. Yet much more than wonderful food has been served on their tables. It has been my great fortune to have dined on their endless banquet of laughter, encouragement, wisdom, and love.

It is a rare gift to feel so unconditionally welcomed and that is how these women make you feel when you come to their homes.

They are mothers, wives, career women, home-makers, spiritual guides, all of that and much much more-- to me they are an inspiration to be a better kind of person.

In honor of these women and others like them, who nurish our hearts, our minds and our souls, join me in thanking them, by visiting the hunger site. Together we can nourish the world.
