Murder
by Arlene Ang
|
Murder, they say, is a sweet
and glorious sin
somewhere between incest and popping cocaine.
You may end up a millionaire with all
the tv, publishing and film rights you can sell.
So, read up on Di Salvo, Crippen, Lizzie Borden
and other masters of the trade, take up playwriting too
- knowing Aristotelian trinity should come in handy.
With a rifle in your hand, arsenic on the table,
blood-shot axe at your side, a cigarette in your mouth
and half-a-dozen dismembered torsos at your feet -
do you still feel a mediocre fool?
Or course, it takes more than your family's
support to have you feeling good about yourself.
